Training class gives a unique insite to rolling element bearing vibration analysis. Combines actual vibration data with examples real life examples of bearing defects.
The course is designed to give students advanced knowledge of detecting rolling element-bearing faults through vibration analysis. The course presents the theory of rolling element-bearing fault detection, including the vibration characteristics for multiple defects. It will use multiple means of instruction, including lectures, visual presentations, and case studies. Each of the case studies will look at the machine history, spectrum, and waveform data, as well as the physical defects in actual bearings. The course will culminate with an exercise in which the student determines which vibration data corresponds with a specific bearing. The exercise is performed with actual bearings, giving the student a unique look at how vibration data correlates with specific bearing faults.
This course is designed for students with basic knowledge of vibration analysis and the principles behind analyzing vibration spectrum and time waveforms.
